Hello. Just picked up a 2007 G500 to slightly backdate and take off-roading. Pretty stoked on it so far, but it's a whole new world to me. That's why I'm here! Hoping to gain insights and ask a lot of questions.
I'm about to start ordering parts and I want to buy once, cry once. I used to have a full long-travel Tacoma, and learned my lesson building that multiple times. Haha.
The list so far:
Wheels / Tires -fifteen 52 has a new wheel called Neito HD, paired with a tall skinny tire 255x80 17? Idk
Exhaust - aFe cat-back
2" lift - Springs / Shocks
Black steel bumpers (W461 style), grill, head lights surrounds, flares
Remove running boards - maybe slides if I can find or fabricate a version that fits the style
Mirrors - maybe professional style later
Update to Apple car play but keep stock looking
Roof rack - if I can find a style that blends and doesn't feel aftermarket
And maintenance as it comes up...
