Just bought the aftermarket taillight. Just purchased and received and works perfect and looks dead on (plug and play).

Believe me as usually i dont buy aftermarket when it comes to lighting but i gave it a chance since it was significantly cheaper.

I think brand is DEPO as it was on the box. I'll post pictures tonight. No notable difference other than the jamb portion is unpainted which I'll remove and paint with satin black and replace. Also top and bottom is lighting but top is slightly dimmer.

Sorry, I only know how to do it properly with SAM, not rewiring. You might want to ask the other guys in this discussion that have done rewiring.

I just did the S65 body kit on my '07 S550. Have the tail lights and new SAM ready for the shop for Monday. Only thing missing is the tail pipes. I'll post pictures when its complete.

Hey Serge: Did you ever get the tail pipes? If you did, would you mind posting the details and some picks?

Man those aftermarket ones look really close to oem, wish they were around months ago.

"We have added your to our waiting list and will contact you once the tail light is in stock.We don't have the final set price yet, but it will be somewhere around $300 + freight.

I asked him specifically if they are the new Facelift tail lights and would fit 07-09 S class. He didn't really answer that question but sent me the email I've pasted above.
