For a while now, we've known Mercedes was building a one-off limousine that would probably carry the Pullman name. Allegedly leaked images from a patent now show what the super limo may look like ... essentially a terribly stretched S-Class.
I’m sorry, but the supposed price of this car is going to be around a million dollars. That's a million dollars with a pinky finger to the corner of the mouth. What a shame because it looks like every other limo that starts off life as a normal car.
True.
Regardless of anyone's "opinion" though, the fact is that the car above truly looks like a typical limo company conversion, a typical midwestern based company commercial stretch of a sedan to make it a wedding/airport/prom night limo.
For a factory attempt to replace the Maybach it is a horrible fail.
Seeing how much the interior was changed from the 221 to the 222 sedan, I am eagerly awaiting to see what the new interior will look like on this new Pullman.
The 18" stretch is quite popular with politicians in the bulletproof version.
Back in 2000 when Putin made a visit to Toronto the Russians flew in 2 S Series and an old Russian built limo that Leonid Brezhnev had used. It was used mainly for high tech communications stuff.
I spent over a week driving the KGB staff around while they were securing the venue for Putin's visit.
I can't find pictures of the Mercedes but have some of the old Russian built ones.
I still drive once or twice a year but nowadays the only stretch's are only for weddings, funerals or proms.
