wheel/tire help
I have the staggered wheel setup on s450 4matic with run flats. I want to replace with regular non run flats. Current size is 245/45-19 Front, 275/40-19 rear. What size regular tires can i replace both sets with without having to make any wheel changes or affect my 4 wheel drive?

I don’t understand wheels/tires settings well. What I want to do is just replace the run flats with non run flats. What do I need to do on the front and back? Thx.

See image; if you want the same size on all 4 corners, the 265/40/19 is only 1% smaller so doesn't make a difference
I would keep the staggered setup, but there's no harm in going to the same size on all corners especially if you're doing it for wheel rotation purposes ... a slightly wider tire on the front (but on the same OEM rim) will look the same

I agree.
FYI, I'm going to change my tires also (stock sizes). I talked to my dealer already. Their tire prices are fairly competitive although they do charge a lot for installation and balancing. That's probably who I'll go to.

If you make the front tires bigger, you will induce some oversteer into the car.
If you make the rear tires smaller, you will induce oversteer into the car.
Oversteer is when the car loses the rear end and you leave the road backwards.
Unless you never use the limits of the car {Accelerating, braking, or cornering} you might get away with the change.
Personally, I would keep the stock tires, and simply convert them to non-run-flats.
