Trunk Liner?

Is there supposed to be fabric on the top portion of the trunk?

Considering it is a Mercedes it is probably a $1200 option, unless that is, you want the $1800 AMG liner.

No, there is no liner in that area, at least on my S560.

There’s a MB comfort box (part # 2228400002) that’s available to cover this location not sure I would spend $350 new to do so. Here’s one used https://www.pacificmotors.com/auto-p...-w222-2014-17/ if steadfast in dressing this area with MB accessory.

Used the comfort box yesterday on a costco run. Really improves the capacity of the trunk, well worth the money.

I usually keep stuff in my trunk so it will be great for heavy foot days (which is often) so things dont bang around.

Who climbs back there and looks up? Not really visible when standing in front of an open trunk. My S550 had the comfort box.... It was great, Used it pretty much every time.

Nobody,

But it could lower the sound from 50 DBa to 49 DBa.

Anyone that has been stuffed into a closed trunk is not going to be worried about 1 DBa !

I did when I noticed my new MB didn't have an Umbrella holder or a pull down hooks for grocery bags I noticed no insulation liner all like my 2007 did.
ALSO missing, A spare in the bottom of the trunk.
Non-run flats on 16 inch rims.
A large fairly useful glove box.
Compartments in the front doors that are useful and large
A 2 level center console compartment to keep stuff organized
A large useful storage drawer under the front seats.
My crabby list for the day. Can't wait to get the W223.
