fm motorcars legit parts supplier?
I cracked the plastic cover on my tail-light and need to have it replaced. Found the genuine Mercedes part online at this website https://parts.mbfm.com/aboutcontact.aspx (fm motorcars) for $403 (msrp is $650). But I am not sure if this website is legit? Does anyone have any experience with this website? The physical address listed for FM motorcars is the same as that of the Fort Mitchell Mercedes dealership https://www.mercedesbenzoffortmitchell.com/. Are they affiliated or same company? I want to make sure the part i order is a genuine Mercedes part.
Also, anyone have any experience changing out the tail light? is it a easy swap? or should i pay $150 for a shop to install it for me?

Just for comparison purposes, try this: arrowheadmbparts.com. They are an authorized MB dealer in AZ and show discounted prices on their website. Good luck.

Another suggestion is to get the prices from mboemparts.com or https://www.oemercedesbenzparts.com and take them to your local Mercedes house parts department and have them price match it if you need it faster. I've done that before and that way I get the price I want and pick it up that day if they have it in stock. I've also bought parts from mboemparts.com and what I've gotten from them seems to be genuine Mercedes parts.
As a side note, I called MB Flemington in NJ directly using their phone number and not the one from the website to order parts and talked with their parts counter and they said that oemercedesbenzparts.com is their website. You can call them and ask the same to verify for yourself.
