I just recently purchased an 03 M-B c240(rwd) and I have had quite a few problems. First of all I noticed in the fuse box one of my fuses are missing, I looked at a fuse diagram and it told me it was a 15 amp fuse for transmission electronics. The guy I bought the car from said for me to not toggle the winter and summer mode due to the fact that it would put the car in limp mode, maybe there’s a correlation there. And on top of all these things pointing to transmission problems coincidentally the transmission dip stick is missing. So my best guess would be that there are transmission problems that he didn’t want me to know about while purchasing this car. Any thoughts comments or advice would help greatly. Also I would like to add one last thing I am not only new to the M-B world but I am also new to German manufacturing, so any advice please spell out for me in stupid, thanks.
