Woo, more beaverton people! It'd be nice to get a mini meet organized with some of the other Mercedes/AMG people here.

Wheels are in motion to get a meet or monthly meet here at the dealership where I work. Our parking structure is complete and we are working on logistics on a mercedes club meet/hot dogs/cruise style thing. Any input from PNW guys? I know there are a couple people in portland. Would anybody be interested to meet up here? Mercedes-Benz of beaverton.

Picked up a new MB from your dealership in December... Really liking the car so far. I will watch this thread to see if there is an interest in a meet there or elsewhere in the area.

I'd be interested. I couldn't do it every month since you are 3 1/2 to 4 hrs way, but I'd still come out to a couple if I could...Maybe if you could plan some big ones where a lot came out. I'd hate to make the drive and be the only one

There is another big meet that is happening semi-regularly over at sonic drive through parking lot. Last weekend there was well over 100 cars that showed up. I was the only Mercedes, good turn out from VW and Audi, probably 75% Japanese cars though. Still lots of enthusiasts there. Again, nobody knew what a C32 was...

The event coordinators said they meet there about every week, but the bigger turn outs happen every 2 weeks. Some people should show up! :-) Starts at 7pm on saturday, but there were a bunch of people there earlier.

we had 3 people turn up to the old chicago meet on tuesday night, biggest Mercedes turn out so far! C32, C36 and SL55. More local people should show up before the weather turns too nasty!

I went "road racing" with the cars and coffee group this weekend with a bunch of audis, porsche and a ferrari. It was pretty awesome. I know my C32 is really fast now that I more then kept up with the other sports cars, out accelerated and out braked a mid 2000s 911 and destroyed an 135i. Lots of fun!

But have you gone up against a mighty C36?? I have four more numbers after my C.

I think that mighty C36 needs a stick shift and a turbo!

Think your right! But before it gets more power it needs brakes an suspension. Lucky I just happen to have one of those two things sitting on the shelf and another on a boat somewhere in the pacific heading this way. But it does give me time to weld up the 190e shifter for shorter throws and finish the stereo install.

Don't want to necro the thread too badly.

The Sunday car's and coffee are probably the best bet. Tigard is bigger. Cascade station is smaller.

I think it's been turning into more of a chat thread. A friend has a Portland Mercedes group going on facebook with a bunch of new people from C&C in it. I work Saturdays so haven't been able to go down there in a couple months.

Do you happen to have your car down at 503 motoring right now? I think I quoted out a set of carbon fiber parts for Dan down there this week for you. There aren't many of those wagons in Portland.

I'll have to look for the FB group.

I use Tim/503 for all my work, but its not down there currently. We just did some tint/clear so far, but its going in next week to get for wheels, KW kit, calipers, and some trim pieces. No additional carbon though.
