Hey Andy,

Is that the quad fog bumper?

So you're selling the
e63 rieger front + 2 sets of fogs (4)
for $1000 + shipping?

(My car is 040 black )

Was there any extra work at a shop to make this fit your car?
Or will it work straight mount and go?
What about the wiring for the quad fogs?

I'm super tempted, but $1,000+ is out of my budget right now =/
But I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread!!!

agreed 1000%. thats why i commented on that bumper. these sound like new in box (NIB) prices and possibly shipped. the prices are quite a bit exorbitant, particularly for used parts.

Yes, they are the same bumper. However, my quad fog lights are all HID and the bumper is painted.

How does $300 each sound? They're all painted.

New Rieger E63 bumper (formymercedes.com) = $695 unpainted
Pair of new Angel Eye or Hella fogs (because stocks won't work) = $179 or $299
Painting by a decent shop = $200

Assuming installation is either DIY or the same price for a shop to do either one (and shipping is the same), then that's a minimum of $1,074 for a new Rieger bumper, painted and with standard fogs versus $1,000 for Andy's, which is used but is a completely custom fog set-up (which I happen to think is the best looking bumper/fog combo that I've seen on this site). I happen to think it's pretty reasonable. At least as an opening/asking price.

I ordered the bumper through them. They called me the next day and said it's out of stock and wanted $800 plus shipping on it. It did not come with fog lights either.

Thank you. The custom fog lights were $400 in parts and $600 labor.

Wow.

That puts things more in perspective.

600$ in labor?

Will it cost ME $600 in labor at a bodyshop to get the lights to work normally?
ie: Auto = Unlock = Daytime + Fogs turn on
Sidemarkers = sidemarkers+daytime(?)
Pull out = Sidemarkers+Daytime+fogs
Full lights = Everything?

or will it be plug in play

Seriously interested.
And I sent you a reply.

Pictures are highly appreciated!

The shop had to design and paint and make new brackets for the fog lights that's why it cost so much. I will have the shop put everything in the packaging so it'd be plug and play for you. The lights were working all normal on my car like factory.

Thumbs up

Hi AndyMeng,

I am also very interested in the Rieger Bumper. Only thing that is holding me back is getting it painted and the price.. The price your asking for does work out if you have a black car. How much would you think a body shop charge to repaint it white?

Thanks,
Will

Like Benzben said, it should be around $200 for a good paint shop to paint it. I got it painted for around that price, too.
