can any MB add a 2nd oil cooler to the system ? any one done it before ? or any products out there i can buy ?

Heat is the worst enemy of an automatic trans. That is the usual cause of failure (that and lack of maintenance). Either or both will serve to stabilize operating temps and keep the peaks you would normally see in stop and go traffic from being as severe. If you live in a very hot climate this is a very good idea for max service life. In my car, there is noticeable loss of performance as everything approaches the high end of the normal operating range.
