A/F ratio
Changing FPR, and or the fuel pump on a C230k (203) w/sim 4 ecu will not resolve lean running at high rpm's. The ecu on this car will adjust the cycle length for the fuel injectors if you increase the fuel pressure. This may take 100 miles of driving for the ecu to make these adjustments. There is no cheap fix for this. The only way to make a permanent change is to have the ecu reprogrammed. I had Renntechs ecu work done last Friday I can feel a difference in the way the car performs the change is best felt above 3500 rpm. Before my car felt a little flat if I stepped on it at 4000 rpms it now feels more responsive, the a/f ratio tested at 13.2 @ 6000 rpm. I will post more info as I have it. I should have the new intercooler this week and get it installed sometime next week. We will see how it all works out.
