Kleemann Upgrades & FunKtion Auto Dulles VA: What Do You Think?

I have been itching to get my '06 C350 3.5L over 300 h.p. ever since I got it last month. I am leaning towards taking it to FunKtion Auto in Dulles VA. I am thinking of having them do the Kleemann headers, full 4-cat exhaust with the dual tips, and the Kleemann ECU upgrade as well as their lowering springs. Does anyone have any experience with either FunKtion Auto in Northern Virginia or a similar setup from Kleemann? Can this be done on a $10K budget? With the K&N filter I have in there now do you think this setup could get the 3.5L another 30 h.p. and put me over 300?

Can't go wrong with Kleemann.....so do it! With the mods you mentioned $10 should be enough not sure about the install though so you may want to give them a call.

Oh man, you are even SF based! That's where I just bought my C350 -- at SF MB on Van Ness. They had to truck it out to VA for me.

The MKB ECU module advertises 34 hp and put the Euro-spec 3.5L at 225kW kW (306 hp) and add almost 20 ft-lbs (276 ft-lbs or 375Nm). That would put my California 3.5L over 300 all by itself. Anyone have any experience with this mod? It sounds a little too good. If they are for real I will have to give them a call. I sent them an email asking "Was ist der Preis für dieses trennt? ".

Dank sehr viel mein guter freund!

I got some feedback from MKB directly. There were very nice and seemed like a good organization to work with. They do not have a US rep so I would ship my ECU to them, have them reprogram it to their 306 h.p. tune (takes 1 day turn-around), and then they send it back. The cost converts from Euros (only) to USD at about $2900 which includes $130 for their end of the shipping. That's about $100 per horsepower. First impression is that they are pricey. What do you all think?

It sounds like great.

But consider it: You must wait between 2 and 4 weeks if you have your "update"...
