Yes and yes. If you have a 2002 it is easier to modify with a larger crankshaft pulley to spin the supercharger faster. It will cost from $350 to $2000 depending on the pulley maker and installation of the pulley. You will get around 10% more power.

Yes, but Linh is packaging it with the correct spark plugs, 4 bar fuel pressure regulator, MAS relocation kit and belt. It's up to them if they want to try and get all the pieces themselves and save a few dollars or use Linh's expertise and save a lot of time chasing parts as well as having someone to ask questions off or even install the kit for them. It's a lot easier on the coupe where it's just a pulley and belt.

If you have a '99 you need to get the extra parts the Linh offers. The $350 price is just the pulley from ASP w/o install. The '99 is much more complicated than the '02 and needs to have several things moved/upgraded.

 

You are sooo funny. $350 + shipping will get you just a pulley and nothing else. Add $20 for a belt. One month lead time, so I hope you are thinking the 27th of November. This is minimal if you don't mind your car running worse than before. You do mind? Then you'll need cooler spark plugs, the correct fuel pressure regulator and MAS relocation kit. So by the time you are done hunting these parts down you will be out $550, if you are lucky, screwed if you get the wrong parts. Then installation, most shops will charge you 1.5 - 2 hours labor or about $120-175 even if it takes 1 hour. Trust me, Linh is doing you a favor at $600. Personally I had the chance to do it as I could have sold the ASP pulley as a tuner instead of direct and it wasn't worth the liability for the few bucks I would make.

We tune these cars all the time. The pulley is one thing, but if you don't have the proper software to take advantage of the extra boost, your car will bleed most of the extra off.

Remember, as with anything, you get what you pay for. Paying a bit more for quality, will pay off in the long run.

Any upgrades like this for the 2005 Kompressor sedan? I really don't want to pay an arm and a leg to use kleemann, especially if somebody else sells the same stuff for less.

Harrison, you're in SoCal right? Call ACG. Those guys can do anything. You're only limit is gonna be the depth of ur pockets. I was there last night they had A C63 with close to 700hp to the wheels!

Mine is M111 so im not really up to speed with everything else they offer for other vehicles. I do know tho, from being in there, that can pretty much do anything anyone else can. If not, then they have the contacts to get it for you, often for less then what you would pay on your own. Give em a call or stop in and see whats up.

I have seen some activity in this thread and I was curious about upsolute tuning for the 99 c230k. I just picked one up in amazing condition with only 85k on it. I am considering leaving it stock, but any input would be greatly appreciated.

Inb4 please use search, I did search and found this thread. Also any preventative maintenance around 85k. I think the regular service for these models calls for 88k service
