Huper Optik
Huper Optik
Hey everyone,
I was doing some research to have my tints redone. I have an 2002 CL600 which I had completely tinted @ 5 % all around. I'm not sure which film my dealer used, but so far, it's bubbling. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I wanted to find out about what the best film on the market is now. I've always heard about 3M, FormulaOne, and Llumar. I called around and a few companies mentioned Huper Optik as hands-down the best in the business and perfect for high-end vehicles. Not to mention that it's endorsed by the American Cancer Society for it's level of protection. As you could imagine, it does cost more than the other brands. I got a rough estimate for about $400 for 5% film all around, minus the labor. The labor time takes much longer due to the thickness and complexity of the film, as well as the drying time. Anyway, I'm eager to get my hands on this state-of-the art nano-ceramic film which was voted one of the "100 Most Important Inventions" by Popular Mechanics Magazine. If anyone has Huper on their windows, I would love to see pics.
Any comment or advice would be appreciated since I'm in the process of getting tints.
