Pulling the resonators for volume?

Hi everyone. This is a double thread post from the w163 forums, but anyways I'm trying to get increased exhaust volume from my ml500, and there really isn't any form of a custom exhaust system for the car (or if there was, it's not being made anymore). So I talked with a few friends who have custom exhausts on their cars (my friend's c320 with an eisenmann) and he said after he deleted the resonators it got him a much louder volume than before. So if I were to do this, would it be worth it? Also, on a different note does anyone have any experience with the evosport high-flow cats? that was the other option I was considering, but I'm also not too sure on how much volume that'll give me. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I have removed the resonator on my clk500 and it wasnt noticeble at all. Maybe at higher rpms it was just a bit noticeble. If you are looking for a nice deep sound, why dont you do your own custom exhaust?
