4300k or 5200k BRIGHTER?

I was looking into getting an aftermarket xenon hid kit for my w202.

I read 4300k is what mercedes stock xenon is, but I am looking for the brightest possible with the "white" look.

Which would be brighter? 4300k kit? or 5200k kit?

The are the same brightness, but slightly different color. The 5200 is somewhat bluer. The 4300 is almost ideally matched to the color temp the human eye sees the best. If you want the best vision, get the 4300, if you want to be cool, get the 5200. If you're young, be cool, your night vision is good enough the difference doesn't matter. If you are over 45, the 4300 is the better choice.

thanks Lynn, I might just go with the 5200k kit. I'm 21, by the way.

About what you said, the human eye is trained to see best at 4300k, I always thought the eyes see best at daylight, which is at 5500k.

I could be wrong though, just wondering.
