My friend and I have been working on a dealw ith powerchips for a group buy discount.
Those who are 100% serious and ready to buy a chip for their car, please respond to this thread.
Most have a claimed 20 hp gain minimum and 20ftlbs of torque.
THey stand behind their product and do offer a full refund if not satisfied.
I am not sure exactly on the group buy applying to other models besides the M104 24v 3.0 engine, but I will be happy to inquire about other models included int he group buy.

i went to check on the site, and see that they dont have the C230 Kompressor...but they do have it for CLK 230 kompressor (which i think uses the same engine).
Ashman, can you please check with the seller for me? I also heard that the ECU will re-program itself when you go in for service, or that the gain is only temporarily ?

What's the claimed gain on a '02 C230K coupe and do they have programming specific to cars with pulley kits (ASP, Kleemann, Renntech, etc.)? If not then they will probably not work with them as the additional boost + timing advance will surely not work out.

I am not trying to be a party booper here, but if your car is a M104
3,0, the injection system is a BOSCH KE.
The BOSCH KE is a electro / mechanical system, so the system isn't driven by a chip, if you want more fuel, it can be adjusted by turning a screw.
How will they chip tune, when there is no chip to tune ??

there is an ECU, that has a chip. the Fuel injection on my 1992 is not fully mechanical as far as I know. The ECU, limits revs and the computer controls fuel/air mixture automatically.
I know I can adjust the car richer or leaner and such, by turning a simple nut, but that will do nothing but give me a poor running car.
If the chip company states the chip will give a little more power, and states they have a full money back gurantee, it worth trying it out.
Still waiting to hear back from them regarding the Group buy.

If you can get 20 HP out of it, I thing it's great, but I really doubt it.
You can pull off the plug at what you call the ECU and the car will still run, as what I understand from their WEB page it's a box which is pluged in between.
I would really like to see a Dyno, there is nothing explained on there WEB page of how it works.

I have a story with those guys, I called them one time and I asked them if they can remove the speed limit for a Holden Commodore, they said yes we can do the job, I sent the ECU and I checked the acceleration for the car before that and it was 5.7 0~60, when I received the ECU my friend came to me and he was very happy that he want to try his car with the new programming, we takes the car and we try the 0~60…. WAAW that’s amazing we lose .1 we try it again and again the best was 5.8, we said ok maybe wither effect, we try to see what is the top speed for the car now.. no we don’t say WAAAW we start to said Fu&*#$ This company.
I called the guy and told him what’s happened he said” sorry man your cars specifications not like AU specifications so we are can’t remove the speed limit” I said ok why did you charge me then? Why you didn’t even call me or send an e-mail to tell me what happened!!
He said “We programmed your ECU to gain more hp and torque”
I said that’s not true, we lose .1 from the acceleration that’s mean there is some thing wrong.
He said ooh no really I’m sorry for that BUT I promise you if we develop any new software I’ll will let you know and we will do it free for you.
My friend sold his can and no body call us.
