I currently own the above. Its totally standard and I would like to know where to start to give me faster acceleration and power output. I think its around 180 BHP, but I could be wrong. The car is near the end of its life, but the engine is as sound as a pound. I've always wanted to take a merc around a track and I have the opportunity but I don't want to embarass myself or the car! I want to know what the limits of the car realistically are. Any advice will be gratefully recieved.

cheers!

Nah! already tried that one, wouldn't go above 120 at the moment. The *** end is very soft and is inclined to roll too much. It also gets there quite slowly. I need more grunt coming out of corners as well as a far stiffer suspension, 700kg springs ok for track use? Also I need to know what tyres are recommended for track use with such a big car. Ta.

great to hear from you kenny. Hey! snap! we got the same middle name!! I took mine to 120 MPH but it didn't feel right, the back end feels very unstable. I feel the car is too high for the weight it carries, higher centre of gravity the more unstable; thats why I would like to lower it. Wot ya think of chipping the ecu? I would like to put throttle bodies on but I dont know if its really practical. Thoughts?
190k, thats about 125mph? I felt that there was bags more power but like I said, It didn't feel right. Next time!
I fancy a turbo myself but I wouldn't pay the price, not in the position to at the moment anyway. Any info you have regards upgrades would be gratefully recieved.
speak to you soon
Frankie
