2001 E55 Top Speed Run [VIDEO]
someone asked for this, so here it is.
Apparently my 210 E55 is limited to 157mph
TRIPLE VERIFIED:
Speedometer
On-Board GPS
G-Tech Competition
This is a big file, get it while it lasts!
This video is rendered in high quality DVD (12k kb/sec) MPEG-2. You will need a DVD encoder for your Windows Media Player. You can get it for free on my site (check the video forum:clk430 race thread)
ps. this is my car without the supercharger and without the unichip.

its an eaton i believe it came with it. It wasnt workin when i got it so in this video my car should run a 13.1 (at the track optimally.)
and to answer the second question, apparently the factory speedometer is dead on. Surprised me too, my porsche is about 10-15mph too high at 180mph. but i'm not making it up, they are dead-on the entire way, though the gps has a 2 second delay.
and you def dont hit a wall at the limiter, I had to concentrate to feel it kick in and really couldnt tell. The acceleration past 145 is very slow as you can see.
interestingly, 157mph is hit in 4th gear at max rpm, almost seems too perfect like they designed it that way. It seems like it would go more if it would just shift!
