CLS 550 ECU TUNE
Hello, first of all i would like apologize for my English and secondly i am writing from Czech Republic in Europe.
I have read countless threads on this web about ECU tunes from different tuners and i am getting lost. I would like to ask You about best recommended tuners on my engine M278 4.6 Biturbo.
After few emails to MB tuners like Brabus (money machine, plastic box worth of 200 usd they sells for 6000 euro!!!!!), VATH, CARLSSON i came to decision that i will chose between two companies.
1.Tech Tec, they have ECU upgrade to 520hp and 600lbs of Torque price is 1999 Euro with DYNO before and after.
2.Evotech slightly higher price but same with the dyno.
3. Which one You would recommend me??
My question is, are those companies reputable in US?? Because i CANT GET any references from people in Europe. I am little worried about performance gains, they are very high compared to stock numbers so i fear about engine and transmission.
Thank You very much

MBWorld Fanatic!
I just had a friend do his e550 4 matic 2012 RENNtech ECU tune only at the track 12.528 at 111 mph... which is not bad for an old guy, reaction time could be better and I think he would be 12 flat
