Internals/Supercharger question......
Thanks!
I read somewhere that the CLK 55 internals are forged (i.e. pistons).....is this true? Also, with the head compression on the higher side (11:0:1), is adding a supercharger taking a big risk? Of course any supercharger is a risk but usually low compression heads are best for supercharger application but if the CLK 55s internals are forged, this will also help in reliable. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
This question might be better in the Performance section?
Brandon from Kleemann can clearly answer your questions.
The AMG motor is hand built and can handle 600HP, this includes the Transmission.

The internals must be forged then.
Thanks guys for the info. I'm definitely leaning toward the CLK 55 over the M3 at this point.

M's are nice and all, but there a many very good reasons to go AMG, including the KLEEMANN modifications... mmmm niiiiiiicer....
