Advice: 2007 E280 CDI Tuning Chips?
Hi, I've recently purchased a 2007 E280 CDI Sport - proving to be a great car. However, I would like to try to get the best power, grace and MPG out of it.
I've seen numerous Tuning Chips advertised, which offer more power, smoother gear changes (7-Speed Auto) and improved fuel economy. Equally, the price of these chips range from £60 to £1500 though the principle for each seems to be the same: they fit between the electrics and influence fuel pressure to increase power.
The thrust of my thread is to ask whether any members can recommend a specific Tuning Chip and/or advise of other 'simple' cost-effective upgrades to primarily improve MPG. I'm not a boy racer, but would appreciate improved mpg when I cruise on the motorway.
