Cool clk55 2002

New to list, but wondered what options I have for tuning my clk55 either with a chip, or other things like exhaust...

Performance - Quality is important

Ah, I have to agree with CLKAL.

CLK55 is a piece of art. I went to speedtuning website, it seems like they are not specialied in MB.

Hm, I will choose from the following:
Brabus - Best quality but a little bit expensive
Kleemann - Best Buy (most economic one)
Lorinser

Exhaust system and Brake system are always first. It does not make sense if the car is fast but cannot break. If changes the chip first, you are risking at wearing out the MB warranty, which could be pricy.

No dealerhship in North America has the ability to read the bin hex code written on the EPROM. IF, in some strange case they could, then they would need to know what to look for. If they did know what to look for, is if feasible for a MB tech to sit in front of a computer for 6+ hours sorting through code just to void your warranty? I say what the dealer can't see can't hurt 'em
