E430 Kleemann Sc On Order
I got my self to get the SC for my 99 E430 instead of buying a 2000 E430 4Matic. Tell me was it a good decision or not, also i have 64.000 miles on my car is it safe to put the SC on it will the engine, tranny, rear diff and all other parts hold the power.
THANK YOU FOR ADVICE.

where are you getting it installed? would definitely recommend a thorough checkup of your car prior to install. this would reduce any chance of 'blame' on either parties should anything not perform to the way you'd expect.

But what should i check for last time i was in a dealer for service they said that everything is good no leaks. One thig that concerns me is when i start the car in the morning you can hear noise coming from engine i thougt it was the valves but the dealer told me to use different oil. I was using Mobil 1 10w30 he told me to use Mobil1 0w40 and after i changed the oil no more noise.

Hey Hubert
Cool Stuff...Kleemann's definitely the way to go for big HP & TQ gains, specially w/their ECU, header downpipe upgrade...520HP in a 430 are awesome #s. I'm still shopping around...just test drove the HPS system, great low end power and good gains for the price...also checked out a Vortec system on an CLK430, nice clean set-up still in R&D and waiting for the dyno #s...Keep us posted with your Kleemann kills

Richard

At 64k miles, your motor is still quite new. You're probably not going to encounter any problems. If MB motors are considered old and worn at 64k, I think Daimler would really have some problems.
I would check the wear of the tranny. Jumping from ~270 to 400+ hp is gonna be quite a strain. My clutch plates were pretty worn at ~43k miles on the odo. Luckily, I had my tranny rebuilt and updated under warranty. BTW, i have a kleemann V6. Does your tranny feel 'clunky' during shifting?
Oh, if you want longevity, I would recommend stainless steel braided hoses instead of that rubber **** that S/C installers use. The motor torques quite a bit under acceleration and it's only a matter of time before the rubbing of the hoses against the chassis will cause a breach in the hose.
Good luck.

Which steel lines you talking about. I did not have any problems with my tranny it feels like its brand new, I hope everything will be fine and I will smoke some M5 in NEW YORK. Also can You guys tell me about the ECU upgrade from KLEEMANN what does it do, they say that you can run on stock ECU.

The ECU in your car is an ME2.0. When we program an ECU for our SC applications we modify the total timing advance and its curve through the RPM and load range, increase fueling and raise the Vmax (top speed limiter).
Typically we can get another 30 HP and TQ with our ECU tuning on top of the gains from the SC.

Do you remember how much it would cost to mod a 430 to that 520hp area? At first I didn not feel like spending the 11K for the s/c because of a mere 430hp, but 520hp sound worth it!!

I've had the kleemann system on my car for about 23000 miles. You are going to enjoy your car a lot. The car will have no problems running with the same ECU programming. I got the kleemann ECU upgrade after one year that I had the s/c.

No. The headers provide more power the worse your pumping problem with the exhaust is.
A KLEEMANN SC'd engine moves easily 50% more air than a stock engine- therefore the exhaust moves a similar amount more. If you had a flow problem stock, you surely have one now.
On a stock engine you should see approximately half the improvement. ECU tuning with headers will provide maximum gain. Still. its less than with a SC. 20 to 25 hp max gain with headers and down pipes (ahh, but the SOUND of it, mmmm).
