Anyone know exactly how Renntech put 6 speed in CLK?

Anyone know exactly how Renntech put 6 speed in CLK?
Now I am getting the itch again. I hate this forum.

Does anyone know how Renntech put a 6 speed in the CLK?

I am guessing they used the Getrag 6 speed from the BMW.

I am wondering about the bellhousing and electronics.

Do you think they used parts off of the SLK?

I just noticed the Crossfire comes with a 6 speed. Maybe the bellhousing and clutch assembly can be used and modified for a Getrag???

they probably used the 6speed out of the c320 coupe. this would mate up perfrctly to the v6 engine.

They did this on one of their 6.0 conversions

I don't think that is the case. That transmission would get shredded by their 6.0 engine.

I am pretty sure that used a Getrag.

I am trying to figure out how they handled the electronics.

I was under the impression the tranny and rear control are controlled together.
