Brabus K4 conversion for W211 E200 Kompressor
Hi there
Brabus have just launched the K4 kit for the (W211) E200 Kompresssor in the U.K & Europe. The new conversion, based on development on the new SLK has just passed the T.U.V approval test and is supplied with three Year downstream warrantee on newly registered cars. The total cost of the conversion is around £1,350.00 +Vat, (including post & package to Brabus Germany)
The conversion is software only, via the E.C.U and reprogramming the engine management system and Kompressor boost valves. The conversion provides 193BHP / 270NM Torque and which although is less than Carlsson and Vath and other Pulley and Belt conversions, is still a healthy increase from stock from 163BHP / 240NM
The performance figures should be around:
Maximum Acceleration 0 - 62: 8.7 or 8.2 Secs Auto / Manual
Maximum Speed: 145 or 147 Auto / Manual
The other major reason to go for this conversion is that it is totally un-detectable by Mercedes Dealers, insurance companies and will therefore appeal to those who would not otherwise go for any engine modification, which would invalidate Mercedes warrantee and increase insurance premiums!
Ciao presto
