valve train geometry

welcome all techno freaks

my 2.4 v6 generates 170bhp which = naught. my best guess is that the cylinder head ports or valves are restrictive. Anyone hauled the heads of a 240? if so, are the ports or valves to small.

similarly how close are the water channels to the ports and valves. how big a valve could i go. lastly whats the combustion design like. is it a fuel friendly anti power 'D shape' job?

and.. what are the cam profiles like in terms of duration and lift. Are the standard cams to mild...

whats the weakest link
