Well, tell Mike that he just installed the pulley mod for my CLK500 today. I paid the original sale price, I think - but maybe he'll count me as one of the ten people since it was this forum, and more specifically, this thread, that led me to get it!

here is the latest update, Mike will try respond to this thread HERE tomorrow, I am hoping he would just do the 20% with whoever we have now, if he waits too long, people may lose interest and dropped off the group buy list
here is what i suggested to Mike, instead of having one of us collecting information from each other, let's have whoever is interest sends an email directly to Mike with the subject heading "20% off Pulley Group Buy"
do not sent him any email until he OK's here
Mike, let us know what information you need on the email
1. yxc145
2. aolhoward
3. clkvegas
4. mercguy
5. c280sportster
6. E320se

MY Pulleys
OK, I had the pulleys installed at the same time Evosport installed my AMG brakes. I got charged for 5 hours of labor, for all of the stuff done to my car. Everyone at Evosport was very nice and helpful, even with a rental car!
P.S. They won't let you take the E55 out front as a loaner

Aol Howard. Mercguy Contact Info
Howard,
Heres my contact info, Mike at evo should already have it since I sent him an email afew days ago on this topic.
He can call: Trevor @ 201-404-1500
Thanks looking forward to the pullies... I pulled my MAF screen and put in new ait filters and tha alone has made a HUGE difference in how hard my car pulls... with the pullies it should be an even stronger beast.
Maybe a 75 shot would really spice things up ??

evosport - Pulleys
Sorry it has taken me so long to post. I spoke to David (YXC145) the other day and we agreed that once we had a minimum of 10 people interested in the pulleys that we would work out a 20% discount from the list of $379.00, plus installation/shipping. Please email me the list with name and phone number and I will contact everyone.

You can email me at mike@evosport.com with the list

Yep, I've heard good things about the evosport underdrive pully set and definately want one for my 1999 C43. Count me in on the group buy! now is as good a time as any to get them.
Let me know when I have to place my order -- the thread did not say by which day my order had to be in.
Thanks,

Only one more, come on Hook Up Your V6/V8. Improve your 0-60 time and probably gas MPG as well!

OK, we have 10. Now we don't have to stop here, a few more would be extra insurance in case someone backs out.
Everyone make sure they want to do this, if so, now what? I would like to pay with my credit card, should I (we) call Mike monday?

C280Sportster -- call Mike up today and lets place our order.
When I spoke to EvoSport directly they said that their under-drive pullies would add 12 hp to the rear wheels of a V8 or V6. Apparently, the drag saved on an engine is the same regardless of size. That same hp increase then, would be more noticeable on a less powerful engine and less noticeable on a more powerful engine.

Have you looked at the "powerchip", man, if that chip does what it says I think I'm going to order that next. It's like 15 HP gain for my motor, for you it will be a lot more. What I really want is an increase in throttle response.
One thing about the pulleys, the major power gains are in first gear and second, less in third. From what I've read dyno's are done in third gear or higher, so we really won't see a gain in 3rd gear. Our 0-60 times should drop, well mine should, you car is fast enough already
