E55 Header pictures

Did a search and could not find a post with these Evosport pieces. Not cheap, no dynos, definitely different than the log style orginally planned. Any info? Stock is top, header is below.

Question So I assume that these headers will not fit a 209 CLK55?

I saw that they're supposedly for the E only. Are there any plans to make headers for the CLK55?

best regards,
Matt

Matt:

We have made a W208 CLK header, but due to clearance issues it was basically an improved version of factory log manifold. There some gains, but not enough to justify production.

W209 would have the same issues.

And you're right, they didn't look dramatically different than the stocker. I assume that the clearance issue is due to those big motor mounts (That's what I assume they are)? That's too bad, because the stock exhaust manifold is all about pathetic looking, and I'm sure that there's no resonance tuning of any type. I assume that no one else has made any headers for the 209? Thanks for the reply, by the way...

best regards,
Matt

Matt: There are other clearance issues as well.

MKB makes a long tube header that comes with HiFlow metal cats. Those work very well, about 20HP on 430.

Good question. The answer is we do not know. Supersprint only lists W203. Theoretically it should fit, since W208 shares the same chassis as W203.
