Need help...tune up gone bad
I just tuned my 300E 1986 mercedes. Everything was fine, just wanted to change the spark plugs . I installed new Bosch plugs with the gap at .034 . The wire harness is fairly new and I did use the silicone on each wire as they were re-installed. The engine runs good ,but the idle is very rough.?????
Did I set the gap wrong? I don't know where to start to fix this.
Can anyone suggest the problem. I am not looking to start replacing everything. That can cost a lot of money. I am the original owner of this 1986 car.

check and make sure the silicone you put on the wires isnt causing it to misfire. Why did you put silicone on the wires? I would clean all the silicone off and reinstall the wires, i think this may be your problem
