Question W.4 Complete Modded C217 M157 and OCTANE

I'm stumped on this one... Maybe you guys can help:

My M157 is fully loaded with Weistec's W.4 Package... You'd think that, that, pushing well over 1000 HP at the crank, would be enough to satisfy pretty much anyone, but I always want more, more, MORE!

So, since I'm running catless downpipes and electronically ignored O2 sensors, now I need to find the highest octane level the ECU will allow to take advantage of this costly juice. I have 72 quarts of Octane Supreme and (4) 5 gallon jugs of 110 Octane Racing fuel.

Basically, I can go as high as I want, but, 104 is actually less powerful than 93. Other than trial and error @ 5 gallons per try, does anyone know what the optimal octane level might be?

On the other hand, can the ECU's spark advance range be widened? (Wouldn't THAT be sweet!)

Fill 'er up with 99 Octane Leaded, please!

sounds like the answer will only be found on the dyno with different fuels, have you ever consider e85...and tune for that?

Boy, this thread is OLD. There's so much history passed on this subject it's not funny.
TLDR; I'm 3 years and $350,000+ into a lawsuit against Weistec for false advertising. I don't wanna talk about it, it just pi$$es me off.

But you're exactly correct. The car is currently being set up for E85 using Spool equipment and mapping. I should have it back, doing what it was supposed to do 3 years ago in about a month. Waiting on Spool's tuner to begin his job, but he's 3-4 weeks backed up.

I can relate, my CL63 was damaged in October of 2020 and i am STILL trying to get it fixed with multiple court cases ongoing. Keep ya head up, you'll see the end of it soon enough. What numbers did you see from the full W.4 package? I have W.3's installed on my setup heading to the dyno soon.

Don't expect anything anywhere near what Weistec tells you to expect. In a lot of ways they're like Trump. Every other word they speak is a lie or a HUGE exaggeration. For instance, there is no such thing as a way to plug and play over 800 wheel horsepower and it can't even be accomplished with gasoline as fuel. Spool is doing double mapping on my ECU. One tune for 93, one for E85. I'll be able to switch tunes with button combinations on the steering wheel. Last I've heard, they were able to get 760 WHP with 811 lb/ft torque. We still have a few days to go and they're pretty sure they can get it up over 850 on Ethanol. Nowhere near that on pump gas.

I wish I'd never heard the name, "Weistec". No amount of horsepower will launch the car from 0-60 anywhere close to 2.7 seconds. It's physically impossible. I hate to say it, but don't get your hopes up. You will be disappointed.
