New Tuner For Mercedes Benz --- MKB ---

MKB is a new tuner for Mercedes Benz. They do a really good job! I like their logo, the car and the horse. Go to their website. http://www.mkb-power.de/

AMG was created by 3 guys with their names starting with A., M., and G.. The guy who has the last name with M. left AMG and started another company called MKB with two other guys that have last names of K. and B.. So the M in AMG and in MKB is the same person. So you get what I am saying, this is a good company to tune your car, better than Renntech (well I got the SLK 55 AMG and Renntech did not have a good performance upgrade for the car). I like Kleemann and MKB the most. Brabus for second because they are so expensive, it isn't really worth it (just to have a 90 hp increase in my SLK 55 AMG, they want to change the engine for $30-$40,000) and I like Lorinzer the third (they are really nice, have better body and looks for MBZ but they don't really explain about their performance or have something for the SLK 55 AMG yet, they got pictures, but thats it). The SL Lorinzer looks really nice, anybody with an SL should go that way.

Talking Welcome to last week...

MKB have been around for almost fifteen years!! They're just not as well known as the bigger tuners like Brabus, Lorinser, Renntech and others. I like MKB as well, and they are one of the few companies that make headers for the CLK55...

Best regards,
Matt

Like everyone said, MKB has been around for awile. Sounds like you havent.

As for the A, M, G, no they are not three people as you have stated. It is actually two Aufrect and Melcher and the town Grossapach. Please excuse my spelling.

Well, not anymore, but as one of the founders, the "M" is for Melcher. He subsequently sold his interest.

I've had MKB parts installed in my CLK 3 years ago. Pricey. but solid stuff.

Thanks for the update

Thanks for the information. I was told that it was 3 guys who made AMG, MKB was new, and that the M in AMG and MKB were the same people. I got my information from a sport racing store in my town, but he didn't give as much info as you guys did. I believe you all. I still like the Logo of MKB. Its better than carrloson

Carlsson got into trouble for trademark infringement over the horse logo.
