Gas Milage

I know that this is a wierd request, but what kind of milage differences do you see with a Super Charged engine? I have a 430 cab and I am consdering putting in an SC, but would like to know what the difference would be in milage?

I actually have not noticed any difference in ghas mileage. I think this may be the case because I have not made any ECU changes for more fuel delivery. So the supercharger simply delivers more air at .6 bar (with the added crank pulley) to the engine. My plan is to perform a rear differential adjustment by 10-12% in order to generate more torque. I realize that this may be at expense of top end speed. I wonder what Brandon's opinion is on this. In any case, get the supercharger man!

Needless to say, when you first get the car back, you're MPGs will be horrible. But this easily easily over-compensated by the increase in smiling

Once you get used to driving with the SC, you will end up losing about 1-2 mpg. With the Kleemann SC on my 430, I was still able to pull 24 mpg on the freeway.

Thanks all for the posts, I guess that I am off to get one installed! Another question, does any one have the specs for a clk430 cab? I know that most of the posts are of the coupe. I also heard of a Kleeman place in NY, does any one have the informantion on them?

Thanks!

I have no experience with the Kleemann dealer in NY, but I can tell you that all Kleemann dealers are fully qualified and trained before becoming an authorized dealer. For a 430 cab you would expect the same gains in power, and probably about a .7 - .1 sec difference in the 0-60, as the cab is usually about a second behind due to the extra weight.

Thanks

Ben
