How do I attach or upload pics more than once?

Could someone please tell me how to use the same photo in more than one thread. When I try to upload it again, I am informed that I have used it before, and in what thread; but nowhere am I told how to attach it to another thread. As a result I have had to upload many different pics of the same car, for example.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at my question, again.

Ricky,

Perhaps you didn't read my question, but resizing my photos has never been a problem. I read your dissertation on "How to post pictures on MBWorld" before, and have been using ...Resizer for a long time. I just read it again and cannot find any response to my question. My question was/is "How do I use a photo more than once, once I get it uploaded? If the answer is buried somewhere in that missive, and I missed it, please just tell me what line it is on: For example, "look on line 1023." I know you are busy, but so am I -- and I would really appreciate someone's help on this.

Thanks in advance,

Gene

Gene- when you upload an image, it gets assigned a URL string. You just need to look at the properties of the image you upload to get that URL string (same way you would do any other image on the Net) and you can then use that string to insert an image via a URL in any of your posts. To get that URL, right-click on the image you upload and select Properties...this will give you the complete URL path to the JPG, GIF, etc. image. Just copy that URL and insert it in your next post by selecting the "Insert Image" button. Hope this helps!

Thanks Mr. V

I have already figured that out, and have done it a couple of times; but it still doesn't get the actual photo into my post. It requires an additional click or two or three for someone to get to the pic. Is there no way of actually attaching the pic to or placing it w/in the post?

Mr. V

I just reread your reply and may have misunderstood so I am trying it again. Will see if I can get it to work here...

Not sure why that would be. Inserting the URL string to the original image will display the image in your new post. Link me to the image or original post and we can do a quick test.

That's okay...

I know how busy you must be going to court and fighting all those traffic tickets. I'd be distracted too!
