Threads per page.......
I have changed the posts per page setting in the CP to 50. But, when I check new posts it only shows 25 threads per page. Why is this?
I have high speed and would like to set to 50 or 100 Threads per page like another Forum I subscribe to. It makes it easier to not have to click on many pages.
Is there a way to change it

What steps did you go through and did you save it?
Click on User CP
Click on EDIT OPTIONS
Scroll near the bottom.
Find the drop down box that says Show X Posts Per Day
Change it to Show 50 Posts per day.
Then go to the bottom of the page and press save changes.
Click on User CP
Click on EDIT OPTIONS
Scroll near the bottom.
Find the drop down box that says Show X Posts Per Day
Change it to Show 50 Posts per day.

That is what I did
It never shows 50 posts per page
It shows about 30 posts per page
It only shows 25 threads per page when I click on new posts.

Does it work for you?
If you click on "new posts", how many threads does it show per page?
If you have "50 posts per page" selected in your options, how many posts per page do you get?

That's a different issue. When I press the NEW POSTS button at the top, it'll always just show a set number of posts.
But say I go to a thread where there are more than 50 replies I'll get 50 replies per page.

Yes, I understand they are different issues.
It's good to know that 50 posts per page is working for you.
Is there a way to change the setting for "New Posts" to 50? It's probably an admin setting............

I'm sure you can.
Like I said before, I'm on another forum that has it set for 50 and it is muuuuch better then all the page clicks. They use vbulletin also.
