How do I reach "Member" status?

I tried a search and I looked in the FAQs, and I'm wondering, how do you get promoted, I went from Almost a Member to Member recently.

I assume you have to be active in the posts for some time in order to get promoted. I think the number of clear and concise posts have something to do with this.

What's the schedule, does anybody know?

75+ = Member
250+ = Senior Member
500+ = Super Member
1000+ = MBworld Fanatic
10000+ = Out of Control

That should be correct.

 

We need something between MBWorld Fanatic and Out of Control. It'll be a while until I reach 10,000 posts and it'll get tiring seeing MBWorld Fanatic all the time (even if it's the truth).

How about "Desperately Waiting to be Out of Control!" Nah, way too long!

 

The huge gap and the incredible lenghth of time and dedicationg it takes to make the jump from Fanatic to Out of Control is the whole point. If there were interim steps, than the accomplishment would not be so meaningful. If you want to be "Out of Control". you have to earn it!

 

why the member status is only dependent on number of posts, it should also count when did you join the forum. I might not be a post ***** but a loyal member and it should be reflected too in my membership status.

 

Although you raise a good point, post count can also be a good determinate in the activeness of a member.

 

I believe the super moderator! lol

 

I'm not going to point fingers or anything, but some people (including some moderators) rely too much on post count to determine another member's activeness. Some people (and moderators) will shoot down a member with only 50 or so posts, when they've been a member for several years.
