How to edit original threads
I just stated a documenting thread about my W211 (https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-salvador.html) but cant seem to edit my first post.
How. and, should I be able to do that?
Edit: I can edit this post. Is it time limited for some reason?

Please make sure you tell them how stupid this is and that it wastes everyone’s time and as a new user, it may prevent you from continuing to post and go through the headache they create. Certain Moderators like to hold the toilet paper for you here. Can you imagine if every forum poster contacted moderators for every edit, that would be the stupidest waste of energy, and it pushes people away from the forum and leaves up bad information in the threads. I for one will absolutely never contact a moderator for a posting mistake. I would change it myself, but what do I know about what I meant to type. If there’s some lame excuse about people changing their arguments after the fact, those people can easily be removed from the forum, while the rest of us continue to edit properly . My mistakes can left up, prove the forum becomes useless and someone will eventually have a better platform. Hopefully it’s one without a glitchy spelling correction algorithm written by an illiterate, and as well, doesn’t jumble up all the words into an artistic interpretation as I’m typing on my modern updated smart phone causing me to post without rereading.
Good Luck and Welcome. We will follow along happily
