Has anyone besides me ordered a new R350 or R500? If so what is your build date and options? Either I am the only "early adopter" of an R Class or people just don't know about this forum...:-)

Jack - your enthusiasm for this car is incredible (you're not a MB marketing employee, are you?) As for me, I need to see it in person, kick the tires and test drive it before I'm ready to order it. I hope the car turns out to be even better than you're anticipating. Although I feel that MB burned me with my current M class, I continue to be encouraged by what I see (in photos) and read, and I'm looking forward to a couple of long showroom visits.

Best of luck with your purchase.

No, I am not a employee...maybe I should be:-)

This will be my 17th MB and I have yet to have a disappointment at delivery. So I just choose the options, write the check and know that I made a good decision.

Thanks for the "Best of luck"....there is always a first time...:-)

lol...

I have decided on Alabaster White with Ash Interior. The Alpine Rain is just the wrong tint of blue and black (although a great look) is just a pain at times to keep looking clean.
