Wow, not offering Command as a stand-alone option? While I need Command, I would NEVER want the pano black glass roof in Florida and accordingly wouldn't buy the R.
I like the proce on the accessories page, Command parts for $275?

The COMAND on the Accessroies page appears to be the "stand alone NAV" but I don't know what the dealer charge will be to install.
As far as the Pano roof is concerned, I am in Las Vegas which is a lot hotter than FL and I don't think there will be a problem. If you select the 3 zone Themotronic you get insulated laminated glass in the windshield and side front passenger windows plus additional vents and sensors in the system. In addition the rear windows are all heavily tinted and the roof is heavily insulated glass with a sun visor for each section. So you may want to check with your dealer when he gets a demo and see how the heat transfer is with the Pano roof.
Keep in mind also the new V6 CDI will probably be available in late 2006...:-)

For those who have not taken a look at the R Class site on MBUSA you are missing something. It is really a Brochure in Flash and has some great images as well as text. Extremely well done...I think better than the ML one that was posted on the ML pages. Large color images of each color from the color chart.
