Are any of the designo colors available for the R class?

 

Not that I know of...I would imagine after June perhaps, sometime after that for sure....

It is in its first year of production - which with MBZ often means no Designo, limited exterior color options, and limited interior trim and color options.

You might ask about custom-ordering, as you should be able to get your preference of exterior paint color for an extra fee -- if you're willing to wait to slot into build-time and to take delivery....

 

Since the R has been a real pain to move off the lots I doubt MB will spend the dough on a designo edition. I shudder to think what a designo package will cost on a R-Class trying to cover all those seats and space with the really good leather/wood. Can you say 9K? Which wouldn't make any sense on a R or ML either IMO.
