Now that actually looks very good. That wheel really does wonders for the R's general shape and stance.

Man..how's your ride with 22 compare with original 18 or 19?? Have you got AIRMATIC too?? My dealer told me if using 22 w/o airmatic will be a mess...

The OZ wheels were pretty reasonable. ran about $2800 with shipping from tire rack. The ride quality has become very stiff, pretty annoying if you really focus and listen on every single bump on the road. Yes, I have lost some of the "smoothness" on this Mercedes, but I would sacrifice that over the stock, nasty looking 18" inch wheels.

Your car, your choice.

No way in Hell I would've done it -- would've gone with 20's for a 'better' look and non-sacrificed ride.

I am going to talk with AMG Manufaktur about wheels for my upcoming R63. I think that the upcoming 21's might be the way to go.

I tried the 20's on at the wheel shop and it looks too small. They actually look like 18's on such a big car.

I hear you - my thoughts exactly. That is why I am going to talk to AMG Manufaktur about wheel options. I am interested in the 21's....

Your car looks great! From certain angles it almost looks like a Cayenne, which is a good thing. It totally changes the stance, definitely.

What's up with these clowns trashing 22's? Why is it that they'll do 21's but "no way in hell" when it comes to 22's? Get a clue...

285/35/22 Tire size. Thanks for the comment.

The aero kit makes a huge impact on how everything comes together. At first it was hard to justify the rear spoiler since it costed $900 plus paint/install.
After everything, was together, I was glad I got it.

Very sharp, I opted for the 20" OZ Canyons since I knew my wife would somehow find a curb somewhere. Sure enough, only after a week she has scuffed two of them! Watch those drive thru's!

FYI to anyone who gets these...your stock MB center caps WILL fit in this wheel if you want to retain them. They match very nicely.

Hey, new to the forum, and just bought the R myself.
I wonder about the small "fins" on each side below your front bumper. Are they original MB? They really look good!
