2007 R class Lease Deals

Interested in seeing what other are seeeing or hearing of regarding 2007 lease deals.

Things really seems to have changed with 07 models, vs the $14K off MSRP that was been given on 06's.

Residuals also changed greatly.

What deals have you people heard about or manage to close..?

Cars I drove:

2007 R350 amg pkg, p1 & p2 xenon
2005 bmw 545i
2003 e55 amg - Gone!
2002 M3 Convertible - Gone!

R350
New R350 (07' v 06')

I can't speak to what people are getting on the 07's but I just got (11-18-06) a '06 R350 12k/27 month with $600 cash at closing for sub $400 a month with a crazy $699 policy rolled in to the lease to cover stuff at lease end (bad decision probably)...The money they are offering on the 06' models is worth grabbing one if you are going to lease.....

Just a thought....

Brian

sure..$14k off MSRP 06's is pretty much available anywhere, i've haerd of $19K off at some CA dealers. but you get alot less for your MSRP on the 06's vs 07's. I think the 07's are going to sell like crazy...can't beat the packages for the $$.

Also 06's still have all old firmware parts etc..almost certainly will have all the QA problems that r class has had since launch...MB took a production gap in AL to address this and launch many many changes to enhance the 07 launch....i guess if your leasing to not buy..it doesn't really matter if you get an 06 and it has QA issues down the road.

What dealers are offering $19,000 off MSRP?

What dealers are offering $19,000 off MSRP? The best deals that I have seen were the $16,500 off MSRP deals being offered by the internet manager at W.I. Simonson in Santa Monica.

Leasing '07 R350 in MD

hi all, happy thanksgiving everyone

What are your thoughts on the following?:
07 R350 with Pewter/Black MB Tex. With [P01] Package, [R44] 17" Wheel Package, 873 Heated Front Seats
MSRP $49,400, willing to sale for 45,400...

with 0.000850 MF, and with 50% residual for 12K miles for 48 months my calculations show monthly payment of 470$ (sales tax+fees+tags+security deposit are on me)

Any room for improvmenet here?

Appreciate the input,
Greg (Maryland)

We have two sample pricing here of 6K and 4K off of MSRP in CA (hsingh) and MD (Greg) resp. My quote from a FL dealer was only 3K off of MSRP for similar configs (actually above invoice!)... I am looking to buy/finance, not lease.
Any suggestions for good dealers in FL to go to - for 2-3K, I'd be willing to travel some distance to drive it home

Thanks!

upfront only = taxes (5% in MD) + tags/fees (incl acq.fee) + 1st month pmt ,
no cap cost reduction.

Lease pmt should be around 490/month....

by the way, I got another dealer to lower price to 44.8K

Why not order it from CA? I think shipping is only 800-1000$ to FL. If you can get 6K off MSRP in CA, then paying 1K for shipping kinda makes sense, no?

I am hoping to find a dealer in FL who sees 'similar economics' as those in CA or MD -- if I can't, I might have to go the CA / MD route. Given their 7-8% margins on cars (from: Autonation analyst reports) and the arbitrage of $1K on shipping cost I would incur, I suspect that if I get the right dealer in FL, they might be willing to deal...

Keep us posted on what deal you end up with! Rgds.

PS Mercedes has 'fleet discounts' with some companies and is offering as much as 4.5K off the R350 2007 'on top of best negotiated deal'. Check if your company has a program with them -- mine does. Further, this discount does not preclude special leasing or financing from MBUSA -- the latter translates into effectively a $2-3K cashback... For a total of effectively 6.5-7.5K off of best negotiated deal, not bad

If your getting $490 including taxes per month on 48 months and only fees to drive off......on a $44.8K car that's not bad at all....ensure it's an 07...you'll get better on a 06 if there's any left out there..

That is the very best price that I have ever seen!! What was the name of the dealership that gave you such a great deal? At that price, I may want to pick up another one! What was the MSRP, the discount from MSRP, the length and mileage of the lease, and the Money Factor? Thanks!

Try all you want gangrun....Absolute bullsh*t....this isn't possible for a new car....yes maybe a slightly used r350 2006, that's already lost is drive off value...even then it's a push....but a new one....impossible...mikeR500...don't get too excited on this one...!

Also 06 incentives are now officially gone....called 18 dealers in CA...none have any 06's left on the lot....

I know nothing of the money factor or any of that other stuff. My dad has the employee discount from his brother We bought the car in Michigan(have 2nd house there so all legal) and had it sent down to our home in Florida. Every car is cheaper in the Motor City!

Gangrun is telling the truth, that deal was offered to employees via the DEPP program last Nov-Jan.
