I hear a constant whining noise

This is when the car is off for a while in the garage. Sounds like a far away alarm. Seems to have a mind of it's own. I can't pin point location. Any one notice this?

Same Problem

I have the same issue. It is comming form the left side of the engine compartment near the injectors.

I'll let you know. i take it in for service tomorrow. Need software flash becase car is bucking out and into 1st gear.

I have corrected the constant whining sound coming from the cabin compartment,...I gave her $100 and dropped her off at the mall......

I'd rather leave my car at the dealer for a day. My other alternative is to drop her at Nordstom with 1-2k and the whining would only stop for a while
