Benz-O-Rama

I've always boasted how my airmatic equipped R500 is the smoothest riding vehicle I've ever driven. Period. Well as of late, I was getting a knocking in the rear when going over bumps and the ride had stiffened considerably. I took in for service and they found that the right rear air shock was bad and replaced it. Well, the problem persisted so I took it in again. They found that the left rear air shock was also bad and replaced it too. Not sure how they missed the second bad shock the first time in but what ya gonna do?

Anyway, picked it back up tonight and it's back to normal. And I will reiterate that the R500, equipped with airmatic, is the smoothest riding people mover on The Planet.

Oh, they also updated the transmission software and the slightly rough 2-1 downshift is gone. Such a pleasure to boogie around in.
