Adding MP3 adapter question

Looking for a little guidance here. I have a 06 R350 and I want to retro fit a Mp3 adapter to my car so I can use my Mp3 player. Getting really tired of all of the CD cases in the car. I have NAV and the 6 CD change in the glovebox. Does MB offer and kits?

I believe all the R-classes has a line-in in the glovebox for the Mp3 players. Are you looking for something more like an IPOD adapter?

Yes, I have Ipod aux in globe box as a option item.
You can also use Aux input for MP3.

You can burn MP3 discs and play them in your changer and single slot. Not sure how many songs you need in your car, but at 100 songs per cd (in .mp3 format) X 7 CDs, that's 700 songs. That should hold you for a while.

Thanks for the input. I was looking for a way to hook up any Mp3 player, Ipod or not. I think I am going to investigate the Aux input in the glove box. I also wasn't aware that the CD player will play Mp3 files. One more quick question. Has anyone tried to use the AUX input? If so what is the sound quality like and that kind of cable did you use? Thanks Guys

i tried my cable without noise suppressor and it made lots of popping sound.
i agree that mp3 is the easiest way to go and you can see song name and control playback on the wheel. using aux means you have to distract yourself dialing ipod buttons while driving...no good.
