What are the specs? What are some visual clues? Where on the interior is the space lost ... last row? ... second row? Which wheel base is the R63 built on?

TIA

If your in the United States or Canada then all R production is Long Wheel Base. For the Short Wheel Base the third row seats are removed, its just a guess but I would say the SWB is built on the M frame. The R63 is the Long Wheel Base. I had some of the same questions, if you use the search function you might be able to pull up the thread where someone was nice enough to post a link to a European MB site that would list the exact dimensions for you.

I have seen a few of the V251s for American sale but they are rare, building roughly 95 or so 251s a day with most being Ws. 3rd row is available but theres like zero room behind it.

LWB is about 12" longer than SWB, with the addition spread mostly over the 2nd and 3rd rows. For only another £1000 it was well worth it.
