rear entertainment system

hi i just got an 07 r350 and it has the rear dvd entertainment system with the screens in back of the headrest, does anyone know if i can have the radio on in the front ansd the dvd playing through the speakers in the back

I don't think so - all speakers are tied into the radio, the radio does not have different receivers for the front vs rear speakers.

You can do headphones for the dvd and music up front for you. That works for us.

Yes, headphones for the DVD player's, and music on radio will work with factory system. Should also work w/ aftermarket system as well, especially the Viz & Rosen systems.

hey, my DVD entertainment system screen is located behind the front row armrest. Is there any way to have to sound projected out of the car's speakers instead of only the headphones? Thanks.

Yes, according to my MB dealer, he has yet to show me how to do it.

There are not wireless headphones for the factory system pre'09. They are plug-in only.

For '09 I do believe they have a wireless set-up.
