The fog light treatment is interesting. Can you get a full front head on shot? It appears the lower grill should have the same chrome treatment as well for a more uniform look. I know the look you were going for, some GL's have the chrome fog light extensions along with some E class cars.

The dummy antenna is hilarious--right out of the JC Whitney catalog!

Mercedes has gone beyond these blade antennas for nav.

Thanks for the extra picture. Does look pretty good, if you have to have front plates like I do it would probably look just right, but with the emptiness in front it might be interesting to see what it looks like with the chrome continuing all the way across the bottom grille. Photoshop anyone? lol

Here is a rare pic of this style of car - you could always paint the chrome bars black - leaving the ring.
