I would like to hear from anyone who has been able to pair the mercedes bluetooth with a palm treo 755p. I see it isn't on the list of approved phone, but really want to add...

also, can't get the voice command to work. I have the controls on my steering wheel, was this an option I might not have?

Off the top of my head I can't recall voice command ever being offered in the R class. I could be wrong but I don't remember it being offered. The buttons you speak of on the steering wheel are for answering and hanging up the phone.

That's right. No voice command option in the R class. The NAV doesn't even have 3D maps.

They are correct. I just bought an R class and I went through the same problem you did. Come to find out you need to purchase a phone cradle the sits in your center arm rest. The buttons on the sterring wheel just hang up and answer your phone. From your nav system you are able to dial a number from the phone funtion. I have not priced the cradle yet so I cant tell you a price. Sorry for the bubble break!!

SORYY GUYS I ALSO JUST BOUGHT 07 R350 AND YES IT DOES HAVE VOICE COMMAND AND WRKS WELL, ALSO WITH THE TREO IT WILL PAIR EVEN THOUGH NOT ON THE LIST JUST CANT DOWNLPOAD PHONE BOOK

Yes, I have it too in my 07 R350 with P2 but it was an option (Voice Command). The voice command allows me to dial numbers, but it's not smart enough to understand to dial contact from my phonebook (my phone book doesn't sync with my Windows Mobile but that's a different story). Also on my steering wheel, I have a circular button in between the hang up/pick up, vol up/down buttons. If I press this button, I can then say "Dial Number XXX-XXX-XXXX" it also controls the CD Changer.
