Thoughts after leasing an '06 R350
Well, today the '06 was turned in after it's three year term.
Having only leased one other car before this one ('02 330i) we weren't really sure what to expect from this new model.
To sum up the past three years they had it, I'd say it was almost perfect.
A few other employees leased them at the same time, and one of them had some serious issues with theirs, but this one was a really good. It only had one weird issue which was an early failure of the front differential. As European cars can go, this one gives me the confidence to reccomend the R as a decent vehicle. Quite comfy, relatively cheap to maintain too. Haven't decided what to replace it with yet, although after having this Merc which was great, and having a C300 that's behaving quite well too, I have to tip my hat to M-B for some damn good memories in some damn good cars...
